Jessica Simpson's Journey to Discover Beauty

Jessica Simpson, the ditzy blonde who was unsure if tuna was chicken by or of the sea, has a new tv series, The Price of Beauty. Without any preconceived notions, we shrugged our shoulders and gave it a try. Our thoughts? We LOVE it!

Jessica Simpson and her two friends travel far and wide to discover the elements that define beauty according to different cultures. Having been under the spotlight for years, Jessica has, at times, given in to the pressures of Hollywood. In the U.S., she says, "People put so much pressure on women to be beautiful. There's always a new diet to follow, a new beauty product to use... but is that what really defines beauty?" She goes on, "I want to sit with people and really listen to their definition of what beauty is. I want to see the lengths that women go to to make themselves feel beautiful in their environment."

On this week's episode, the 5'4" blonde voyages to Bangkok with her two comrades in search of Thailand's prospective on beauty. With the help of their "Beauty Ambassador" and the people themselves, she uncovers the answer. Scroll down to watch the trailer and first episode provided by Vh1.

I'm surprised you guys liked it! or rather LOVED it! I personally am skeptical towards the show on how long it'll run. I watched an interview by ABC with her and couldn't dare finish watching because of her public speech! Well I thought I'd stop by and see what's on your blog! I guess I should definitely check an episode of the show out since you loved it so much!
