A Story to Tell

When you're listening to Jason Mraz's music, you can tell that he's one person truly devoted to his passion. Words practically spill from his lips and intertwine perfectly with his trusty acoustic guitar, proving that an organic sound still can exist in today's electro-dance pop craze. The sounds of bossa nova, hip hop, jazz, pop and reggae inspired Jason at a young age and he soon acquired a mission- to tell his story with music. Shortly after finishing high school in Virginia, he moved to New York, where on the streets, he learned to play the acoustic. Playing gigs and selling out performances, he recorded his first album, Waiting for My Rocket to Come. With frequent tours and promotions he gathered a healthy fan base but it wasn't until his second album, Mr. A-Z, that he would achieve commercial success. Currently, Jason is on tour and has released a mini album titled Life is Good, recorded during his first few shows this year. Take a listen on his official website!
