No One More Graceful

Actress turned fashion icon turned princess, Grace Kelly is more than just another product of Hollywood. She is rather, other worldly, her beauty and humble nature so natural, everything one would expect from royalty. Starting her journey from Philadelphia, her hometown, to New York to Monaco, Grace left traces of her style that will forever be remembered and adored. Currently, a display of dresses once worn by Grace Kelly will be on exhibit till September 26, 2010 in London at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Learn more about the exhibit here.

"If there is one thing that is foreign to me it is shopping for pleasure. On the other hand, I believe that it is right to honor all those who create beautiful things and give satisfaction to those who see me wearing them."

"I would like to be remembered as someone who accomplished useful deeds, and who was a kind and loving person. I would like to leave the memory of a human being with a correct attitude and who did her best to help others."

"I avoid looking back. I prefer good memories to regrets."

"I am basically a feminist. I think that women can do anything they decide to do."

"Why get angry? Getting angry doesn't solve anything..."

"Before my marriage, I didn't think about all the obligations that were awaiting me. My experience has proved useful and I think that I have a natural propensity to feel compassion for people and their problems."

"When I married Prince Rainier, I married the man and not what he represented or what he was. I fell in love with him without giving a thought to anything else."

"My father had a very simple view of life: you don't get anything for nothing. Everything has to be earned, through work, persistence and honesty."

Femme Fatale: Marion Cotillard

"The light of my dream is still on and it's really shining bright today."

A woman with that certain, je ne sais quoi, Marion Cotillard is an Oscar winning actress who has audiences captivated in her latest role as Mal, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Inception. Marion is hauntingly beautiful throughout the film with her long flowing dresses, disguising the mystery under layers of soft fabric. Marion delivers with ease the complexity of her character being "strong and vulnerable and hopeful and heartbreaking all in the same moment", according to Leonardo. With over ten years of experience in the French film industry, she is a veteran at her best. The same applies to her fashion choices on the red carpet. Below are some of our favorite. Visit Magnifique Marion Cotillard, an english site dedicated to the lovely actress.

"I don't think you learn how to act. You learn how to use your emotions and feelings."

"Being Lady Dior is fabulous. I meet beautiful people and go to amazing parties."

"I read the [Inception] script and I thought 'oh my god, I've never read something like this before.'"

"I think the Earth and everything around it is connected—the sky and the planets and the stars and everything else we see as a mystery. I think we connect when we accept that the mystery is also taking place here on the ground."

"My parents always told me that if you want something, you can do whatever you have to do to get it. As long as it's not against someone else."

Camilla Belle

"Because I was able to submerge myself into the character, I didn't have to go back and forth. You don't have to work hard to bring emotions. It all just comes naturally, you're there living it."

Always the belle of the ball, Camilla Belle knows style and isn't afraid to show it. At 23 years old, Camilla has walked the red carpet for premiers in designers such as Christian Dior, Gucci and Jason Wu. And who could ever forget the blue bird-like Alexander Mcqueen piece? We expect Camilla to continue to impress and stun us with her classy sense of fashion.

"I love acting and I feel really grateful that I've been successful at it. I didn't go into it because I wanted to be famous, or be photographed. I never set out to be noticed."

"I don't even know why, but it was just a different experience and everything different is fun."

"I'm not a dark person at all, so those roles are the most challenging. I don't think I'm necessarily drawn to dark things. It just seems to work out that way."

"By knowing your character so well you can't go wrong. All of us kind of fell into that."

"Musicals, period pieces, romantic comedy - I'm open to anything."

"I fully credit my family for keeping me grounded and for putting me back in line whenever necessary. I am also very lucky to not have the type of personality of someone that enjoys going out-so I have never felt tempted."

"The world that she lives in is just magical, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen."

"When I was younger, I had no interest. But after I went to Paris to see the collections for the first time a few years ago, they made a huge impression on me. I realized that fashion is an art form, like acting or painting."

Style Icon Lives On

"The myth of Bardot is finished, but Brigitte is me."

Brigitte Bardot is an iconic beauty with a style that will forever carry on. Working a classic trench, bow headbands, striped sailor shirts or even a paper bag, Brigitte is one woman who knows how to truly work it! For more pictures go to www.fanpix.net.

"If I could do anything about the way people behave towards each other, I would, but since I can't I'll stick with animals."

"Every age can be enchanting, provided you live within it."

"One day I turned my back on it all and became a bohemian."

"If this fame, which people call my lucky break, were to stop tomorrow, I shouldn't care."

"A photograph can be an instant of life captured for eternity that will never cease looking back at you."

"I never do anything by chance."

"I have been very happy, very rich, very beautiful. much adulated, very famous and very unhappy."

"I was just a cheap little starlet hardly acting at all in a very mediocre film."

"When you're thirty you're old enough to know better, but still young enough to go ahead and do it."

Lily Cole

"I love modeling, but also see it as a platform for the million other things I want to achieve and create in life."

Model Lily Cole isn't just another pretty face. As she strives for more than the perfect catwalk, she is taking on roles in movies and in the classroom. She states, "I’ve been doing modelling for years and I feel like I’ve taken out of it what I need to and I’m ready for new things." This Cambridge University student will be appearing in the upcoming movie, The Moth Diaries and expect to see more of Lily as she wishes to further her acting career.

“It’s bizarre that people find it so fascinating. I take opportunities as they come. Fashion has been a great one, but it hasn’t stopped me doing other things. I love creativity and I’m interested in the humanities. Human life, art, any of those things wonder and perplex me.”

"I'm always the first to hand in my work, because I know if I'm late the teachers will come down on me like a ton of bricks. Modelling is great, but studies come first."

Lily wants "...to live spontaneously - I don't want to be just a model."

“I feel so lucky. I always wanted to do creative things when I was younger and I wondered how I’d afford it. I’m lucky to have the freedom to do things I want.”

Scarlett Johansson

"The most precious moment in life is when you're about to fall in love."

Scarlett Johansson is known for her sophistication and femininity. Not to mention her gorgeous figure! In ads for Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and Mango, Scarlett leaves us with an impression of a woman with intelligence and all the glamour of a star from the '40s. Despite these typical findings, she is coming out with a role in Iron Man 2 where she really kicks some butt! Playing "The Black Widow", Scarlett trained and worked hard to bring the Marvel character to life. She states that though the thought of training for the role was "daunting", at the end it all paid off.

Make sure to check out Iron Man 2 in theaters this Friday, May 07, 2010, and be on the lookout for more action as it's said that Scarlett signed a contract with Marvel for which she will be donning her catsuit once again for a possible Iron Man 3 or The Avengers. Click below for the trailer!
